What can I add to a section in an event website?
When creating a new section for your event website you can add the following optional content:

- Section Title - the title that will be displayed at the top of the section. This is a mandatory field.
- Section Editor - this allows you to add some text that will be displayed in the section for your website - this could be an event overview or a meeting description - the choice is yours! If you selected 'Add Section', you will see the rich text editor as shown above. If you selected 'Add Markdown Section', all text added in this field can be formatted using Markdown (see our 'Markdown Help Sheet' in this article for a full breakdown of how to use this type of text formatting).
- File Download - this allows you to upload a document, picture, or file and make it available for download from the website. This could be an agenda or a site map - again, the choice is yours!
- File Download Title - this field allows you to give your file a title (such as 'Event Agenda'), which will be displayed on the button that the attendee can click on to download the file from the section when viewed in the website. If you choose to leave this blank, the actual filename will be displayed by default.
Additionally, you will see the following options:

- Background Image - this option provides you with the ability to add a 'background' image for your section. When you create multiple sections for your site, getregistered® will provide you with alternating coloured backgrounds by default... but if you want to personalize your website, upload an image here and make it your own!
- Inline Image - this is a handy feature that allows you to add small inline images such as a speaker's headshot, hotel logo etc.
- Access Level - the Access Level area allows you to choose who can view the section that you have added:
- Unrestricted - any person with a link to your event site can access the current section.
- Invited users and attendees only - only attendees that have been invited or have registered can access the current section.
- Attendees only - only registered attendees can access the current section.
- Admins only (preview) - only Admin Event Users logged in to getregistered® can access the current section.
- Users invited to or registered for selected tracks only - only invited or registered attendees on specific tracks can access the current section.. When selected, you will have the choice to select which registration tracks can view your section.
- Users registered for selected tracks only - only registered attendees on specific tracks can access the current section. When selected, you will have the choice to select which registration tracks can view your section.
