Admin (Planner) User SCIM with Okta

getregistered supports SCIM provisioning via Okta for admin user provisioning. This guide will walk you through setting up SCIM.

Prerequisites

To enable SCIM provisions, please contact support to confirm that it is available as part of your getregistered subscription plan. You will need to work with getregistered support to configure the integration.


You will also need to configure SAML SSO either using the OIN SAML integration (available soon) or a Custom App Integration.

Configuration steps

  1. Configure a SAML integration following the steps in this article https://planner-support.getregistered.com/article/251-admin-planner-user-saml-sso-custom-configuration
  2. Contact [email protected] asking them to enable SCIM provisioning for your account. They will securely supply you with a username and password to use for the integration, as well as the "SCIM connector base URL" to use in Okta to configure the integration.
  3. Follow the steps outline here to configure the application Okta https://help.okta.com/en-us/content/topics/apps/apps_app_integration_wizard_scim.htm?cshid=ext_Apps_App_Integration_Wizard-scim
  4. Test the integration.

Group push

getregistered exposes a single admin user group for each tenant and supports provisioning of Okta group membership to this group.

It does not support creation or deletion of custom permission groups.
