Can attendees change their tracks once they have registered?
Yes, attendees can make track changes, but that choice is totally in your control! To interact with attendee track options, you must first navigate to your Event Settings and select the 'Advanced' tab.
Once you are on the 'Advanced' tab, scroll down and you will see the 'Attendee Track Upgrade Options' section:

This is set to 'None' (disabled) by default. To enable, select either the 'Unrestricted' or 'Upsell Only' button, and you will see some further options displayed:

What's the difference between 'Unrestricted' and 'Upsell Only'?
Selecting the option 'Unrestricted' will allow attendees to make unlimited track changes on their registration (depending on track availability/visibility). If you select 'Upsell Only', when an attendee selects to change their track, they will only be able to choose a track of higher value than their current choice.
How do I limit when an attendee can change their track with track upgrades enabled?
To limit when when an attendee can change their track, simply click on the 'Track Upgrade Cutoff Date' field and select a date - once this date is reached, attendees will no longer be able to change their track unless you change or remove this date in your settings.
Can I manage track pricing in any way when an attendee selects to change tracks?
Yes - we provide two options to allow you to manage what track prices are given to an attendee when they change track:
- Original Registration Time - selecting this option preserves all track pricing at the time the original registration is made by the attendee.
- Upgrade Time - selecting this option will mean that any track changes made will use the current pricing at the time of the track change.
