Integrations: Microsoft Entra ID (Active Directory)

Requesting activation of the Microsoft Entra ID Integration for your organization

To request activation of the Microsoft Entra ID (Active Directory) integration, navigate to your 'Integrations' area and select the 'Microsoft Entra ID' tile:

You will then be presented with a web form for you to complete.

Simply add your details here and click on the 'Send' button, and we'll let you know when the feature has been enabled for your organization.


Enabling the Microsoft Entra ID Integration in your events

To begin setting up your Microsoft Entra ID (Active Directory) integration, navigate to your 'Integrations' area and select the 'Microsoft Entra ID' tile:

On the following page, click on the 'Connect to Microsoft Entra ID' button to continue:

You will then be redirected to login to your Microsoft account, just enter your credentials and submit - once entered you'll be redirected back to getregistered and the following page will be displayed:

Your integration is now connected, and you can now use Microsoft Entra ID in your event!


Using the Microsoft Entra ID Integration in your events

With the Microsoft Entra ID integration active, you will now be able to search your internal MS Active Directory to add users to new registrations and invitations in your event.


Using Microsoft Entra ID when creating a new event registration

First, enter your 'Registrations' area and click on 'New Registration':

On the following page, you will see the new 'Directory Lookup' field - to lookup a person in your Active Directory, just start typing a name in the field provided and select the user you wish to register:

Once you have selected a user, you will see that the email address field is now populated. When you click on 'Start Registration', you will be redirected to the registration form, and the name and email address fields will be populated with the user data we have collected from your organization's directory:


Using Microsoft Entra ID when creating a new event invitation

First, enter your 'Invitations' area and click on 'New Invite':

On the following page, you will see the new 'Directory Lookup' field - to lookup a person, just start typing a name in the field provided and select the user you wish to invite:

Once you have selected a user, you will see that the email address and name fields are now populated. You can now continue to create your invitation as required, and when you're ready to save, just click on the 'Save Invite' button:
